Gaston United Fall 2008 Recreational Soccer
Welcome to the Gaston United Recreation Page

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

Gaston United Soccer Club has a recreation hosting league and the emphasis is on fun and learning at the same time?  We want the KID’S to have fun playing soccer and the best way KID’S can have fun is by touching the ball a lot.  How do KID’S HAVE FUN?  KID’S have fun by playing on smaller fields with a fewer amount of players on the field at one time where they will have greater opportunity to touch the ball when they are playing 4 versus 4 or 6 versus 6, rather than playing 11 v 11 with other hosting leagues in the area.  Gaston United Recreation also provides skills nights where the KID’S and the volunteer coaches can learn new skills the correct way by a certified licensed coach.  Gaston United Recreation provides a full uniform, a soccer ball, insurance, a trophy, and a fun day.  Another benefit that Gaston United Recreation can provide is the opportunity for any recreation team to play in state sponsored tournaments at the end of the season which is up to the individual team.  We realize our cost may be slightly more than other leagues, but the benefits are greater.
