As of Feb. 24, Bess Elem is temporarily closed for all GUSC TEAM Practices (due to field conditions). THIS WILL NOT EFFECT TAN OR GOALKEEPER TRAINING; THEY WILL STILL BE HELD AT BESS EL. ON THEIR REGULARLY SCHEDULED DAYS AND TIMES.
Temporary practices changes are:
Academy (U9-U10) will move to North Belmont park Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30pm - 6:45pm (starting Thursday Feb. 25)
U11 Boys White at North Belmont park Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30pm - 6:45pm (starting Thursday Feb. 25)
94 Blue will move to Robinson Elem Tuesday and Thursday from 7:15-8:45
U12 Girls coached by Celene Molera will move to North Belmont Tuesday and Thursday from 5:45-7pm
U14 Girls Coached by Scott Ginn, new training times are 5:45-7 on Tuesday and Thursday at North Belmont Park
U14 White coached by Jonathan Reed, new training times will be 6:45-8pm at North Belmont Park
96 Boys coached by Robert Lane will move to North Belmont Park from 6:45-8pm Tuesday and Thursday
93 Boys Coached by Seth Lowther, new training will 7:45-9pm at North Belmont Park
91 Boys Coached by Joel Webb, new training will 7:45-9pm at North Belmont Park
The fields will be closely monitored over the next few weeks and I ask everyone to be patient as we work with through everything. If you team was not listed NO changes have been made to practice schedule. Additionally, those teams that are fortunate enough to find alternate or indoor facility please get with Debbie Webb so we can get those facilities listed under our Insurance Liability policy through NCYSA.
I know I speak for all the Coaches but we truly appreciate your patience in dealing with the weather and cancellations of practice; we look forward to getting some momentum going into the spring! GUSC has an excellent staff of coaches, a supportive board of directors and loyal membership; so please let me or others know what we can do to improve your experience with GUSC!
